When viewing content:
Creators have control over when a video plays/pauses within a recorded experience. This means that, as a viewer, you can't press "play" on a video while the instructor is actively speaking. However, you can adjust the volume of videos during playback.
Once the experience has ended, or if you pause the experience, you have full control over the video. This means that you can walk around or teleport to check out a video up close, enlarge a video, play/pause/rewind/stop, or adjust the volume of a video.
When creating content:
You can import one or more MP4 videos into Enduvo when you are creating content. Your videos can include audio or can be silent. As the creator, you have full control over the video playback while recording - so you get to dictate the initial volume settings as well as when a video plays/stops during an experience. Currently, the video playback gets stopped when you stop recording an experience, so factor in video length and timing accordingly.
Pro Tips:
- We recommend that you keep videos relatively brief; we have found that longer videos can detract from the immersive, interactive nature of the app and make users more 'passive' rather than active in the environment.
- When including a video, try to distill it down to the 'core' moment to keep users focused and engaged.
- Use appropriate, reasonable audio settings for your videos.
- Don't overwhelm your users with 25 videos playing simultaneously! It is distracting and can take away from the experience. Instead, "hide" any videos that you aren't using at any given moment to keep the users' full attention where you want it.
