All users have the ability to take a screenshot within Enduvo using the integrated camera tool in app. Please see below for tips and tricks to take a great screenshot.
You can use the camera tool to take screenshots either on your PC/Mac or within VR.
In First Person Mode (on your PC/Mac)
- Left-click on the in-app camera tool with your mouse to select it
- Use the navigation tools to position the camera in your immersive space so the camera viewfinder captures your desired image
- Select the eye "point of view" icon in the upper-right corner of the application
- You will see the options to select what is displayed on your screen - First Person, HMD (view from VR headset), or Scene Camera. Select "Scene Camera."
- Click on the snapshot icon on the camera to take a screenshot
- Open your PC's "Pictures > Enduvo " folder to find your screenshot
In VR
- Grab the in-app camera tool by placing your controller on or inside of the camera
- Position the camera so that the view as seen through the camera viewfinder captures your desired image
- Click on the snapshot icon on the camera to take a screenshot
- Open your PC's "Pictures > Enduvo " folder to find your screenshot
Using native/3rd-party Capture Tools
- Use positioning controls within Enduvo to show a specific perspective of your scene
- Use built-in screen capture tools on your machine
- On PC - Windows + Shift + S will launch a snipping tool
- On Mac - Command + Shift + 4 will launch regional screen capture
- Use third-party tools, like SnagIt, Movavi, or similar products
In First Person Mode
You have two options to capture a screenshot in first person mode:
- In-App Camera Tool
- Play the lesson
- Left click on the in-app camera tool with your mouse to select it
- Use the gizmo that appears to move and rotate the camera around the space
- Position the camera so that the view as seen through the camera viewfinder captures your desired image
- Select "Camera" from the drop-down box in the lower right hand corner of the app window to preview the screenshot
- Click on the snapshot icon on the camera to take a screenshot
- Open your PC's "Pictures > Enduvo " folder to find your screenshot
- Desktop Screenshot Tools
- Play the lesson
- Maneuver within the immersive environment using your built-in first person mode commands (here) so that the Enduvo window shows your optimal perspective
- Launch whatever desktop screenshot tools or apps you prefer (e.g., Snip & Sketch)
- Capture your desired screenshot
In Virtual Reality
To capture a screenshot in virtual reality:
- Play the lesson
- Put on your VR headset
- Grab the in-app camera tool by placing your controller on or inside of the camera
- Position the camera so that the view as seen through the camera viewfinder captures your desired image
- Click on the snapshot icon on the camera to take a screenshot
- Open your PC's "Pictures > Enduvo " folder to find your screenshot
