Currently, users can only select or change the 3D environment when in 'play' or 'learn' mode in Enduvo. This means that you cannot select a specific environment while you are creating or recording content. Instead, all lessons are created in 'outer space.'
You can, however, preview your recorded content to make sure it plays as expected. Here's how to 'preview' both before and after recording your content:
Before recording
- Import all of your 2D assets (how-to import 2D assets) and 3D assets (how-to import 3D models) into Enduvo from the create>lesson page in the desktop app.
- Layout your immersive classroom as desired (detailed how-to here):
- Click on "Record Lesson" to enter the immersive environment.
- Setup your room for the first learning objective.
- Click on the round record button on the control table to start recording. To do this, place your controller on top of or "inside" the button and then pull the trigger.
- Record 5-10 seconds of silence or "filler" audio.
- Click on the round record button again to stop recording.
- Click on the floppy disk "Save" icon behind the control table. To do this, place your controller on top of or "inside" the button and then pull the trigger.
- Click on the door "Exit" icon next to the "Save" icon to exit the room.
- After exiting VR, return to the create>lesson page in the desktop app.
- Click on "play" next to the lesson in question.
- Choose the 3D environments you would like to preview by clicking on the world icon next to the Topics and Assessments Board (detailed how-to here).
After recording
- Record and save your lesson in VR.
- Exit your VR lesson.
- After exiting VR, return to the create>lesson page in the desktop app.
- Click on "play" next to the lesson in question.
- Choose the 3D environments you would like to preview by clicking on the world icon next to the Topics and Assessments Board (detailed how-to here).
