How to import externally recorded audio
There are two simple ways you can import external audio using the existing capabilities in Enduvo today:
-
Record an MP4 video, with audio, that you can play in the classroom. The video can be front-and-center or hidden behind other assets. Because instructors now have full control over when the video is played/paused/stopped, you can introduce your 'guest speaker' and then play the video in the background while working with the model, etc.
-
Finally, you can also record an audio file and then play it via a mini Bluetooth speaker clipped on and placed strategically close to your headset mic. This is a bit of a system hack but can be done successfully in both 0.9.8 and 1.0. The headset mic is sensitive enough to pick up the Bluetooth audio reasonably well.
The Enduvo development team is working on functionality to allow content authors to record and import external audio into Enduvo, but the tricks above should get you started today.

Yes, that should work!
My only tip, if you're using this trick, is to either:
- Have a 'helper' in the room who can press play on your phone to start the audio clip or...
- Wear a sweatshirt or pants with pockets where you can stow your phone after pressing play so that you have your hands-free to use your VR controllers
Good luck recording.
